Didn’t he write… Yep, he’s the author of Black Hawk Down. But despite his fondness for self-inflicted human tragedy, this fast-paced book is neatly placed in the context of Colombian history and society. You’ll definitely learn something.
Is it hefty? Not at all, you’ll probably read it in a weekend. Unfortunately, the incidents narrated will stay with you a lot longer.
