Este párrafo semanal trata un tema que quiere ser mirado desde cualquiera y desde todos sus acuosos perfiles: el agua. Una anécdota, un cuento, una noticia, un dato, una consulta investigativa, una crítica, un ensayo. Hablamos de aportar ese grano de arena: nuestro aporte será en gotas.
Nosotros queremos hacer una laguna. Queremos un espacio de participación. Que recibamos de ustedes ilustraciones y fotos inéditas, inquietudes y críticas, historias, intrigas, artículos, documentales, y toda clase de información que pueda encausar trescientas palabras más. Queremos revisar nuestras costumbres y rutinas, queremos evitar sequías, reivindicar los valores que nos hablan del amor y el respeto por la naturaleza. Queremos interrogar nuestra falta de interés en los cuidados ambientales. Queremos creer que al informar con crítica y fundamento, estamos tomando parte de una responsabilidad asumida. Queremos hacer charcos, que juntos inundemos párrafos fértiles en reflexión y denuncia. Queremos que esta no sea una preocupación personal; queremos que se trate de una laguna regada por muchas fuentes.
Queremos comprometerte con nosotros. Comprometernos con todos los demás en la tarea de encontrarnos y entendernos a través del agua. Que cada vasito ilustre nuestros desafíos y nuestra sed, que esta anécdota semanal nos incite a mirar y a sentir el agua con un carácter especial.
Queremos unir. Queremos encontrar en el agua la forma de unir lo que quiere ser unido, queremos creer que el agua podría unirnos a todos. Que la palabra sea el elemento que fusionamos en gota. Que cada palabra sea, siempre, una gota. Y hagamos llover. Que entre todos inventemos un río, y entre todos labremos la ruta que nos llevará hasta el mar. Te invitamos a que cada semana nos tomemos, juntos, un vasito con agua.
A glass of water
Three hundred drops are not enough to fill a glass of water, but three hundred words could narrate the flood.
This weekly section deals with a subject that needs to be viewed from all of its liquid sides: water. An anecdote, a story, a piece of news, a fact, a research consultation, a review, an essay. We talk about providing our grain of sand to the world: my contribution will be in drops.
We want to make a lagoon. We want to create a space for participation. We want to receive from you unpublished illustrations and photos, concerns and opinions, stories, intrigues, articles, documentaries, and all sorts of information that can become three hundred words more. We want to examine our habits and routines; we want to prevent droughts, by vindicating values that speak of love and respect for nature. We want to interrogate our lack of interest in environmental care. We like to believe that, by reporting in a critical way and with foundation, we are taking part in this liability. We want to make ponds, we want us to float together in fertile paragraphs of reflection and denouncement. We want this section to be a concern that is not only personal; we want it to be a lagoon that is irrigated by many sources.
We want you to commit with our proposal. We can all commit to one another in the task of finding and understanding each other through water. Let each cup illustrate our challenges and our thirst. Let this weekly story incite us to look at and to feel water in a special way.
We want to unite. We want to find in water the way to unite what wants to be united; I believe that water could bring us all together. We want words to be the element that we turn into drops. Let every word be, always, a drop. And let it rain. Let’s create a river together, and let’s dig the path that will lead us to the sea.
