The Amazon is surrounding the boundaries of that place known as the point of no return

Ignorance is bold. The truth is that ignorance of certain matters makes our behaviors to be misguided. Over the years, we have checked that a recent generation has not treated with enough lucidity the resources that land had to offer, and this utilitarian look just saw in nature an inexhaustible productivity bank. Our mistake lies in wanting to perpetuate these practices, knowing beforehand the irreversible damage that they will cause us.

The deterioration of the plethoric Amazon rainforest is reaching a critical situation, to the point that the regulatory activity of the global climate is being ruined by the incessant human greed, and the unforgivable breach in our environmental obligations.

The largest rainforest in the world, which contributes 20% of the world’s oxygen and is home to 10% of the planetary biodiversity, has been deforested in his fifth over the past fifty years. The enormous growth of the livestock industry accelerates the mass destruction of trees: native vegetation is being burned and razed to be replaced by soy crops used to fatten cows.

Unaware of the influence these green spaces have on our lives, we are the most threatened species while attempting to patent an unsustainable model that will end up putting us in danger. Our ravages promise to turn these forests into dry regions. The paradox is that, in the long run, trees do not need us, and somewhere, far from human beings, they will patiently thrive again.

That will not happen to us when all trees are goneIt is illogical that the desire to make money is above values specifically intended to preserve life. It is time to understand, take action and commit to reverse the process of deforestation in order to defend what is truly essential to us all.
